Claremont Middle School invites the community to its annual Auction & Gala on Saturday, April 18, from 6pm to 11pm at Masonic Lodge, at 5449 College Ave. More than a fundraiser, the event is a vibrant evening dedicated to celebrating community and supporting local students.
This year’s theme, “Casino Night,” sets the tone for an adults-only experience that is lively and fun. Guests are encouraged to embrace classic casino glamour—think timeless elegance inspired by old-school Hollywood and iconic Bond style—with sharp suits, sleek dresses, and bold, confident looks.
The evening will begin with a beer and wine cocktail hour, offering time to mingle and enjoy casino table games. A plated sit-down dinner follows, leading into a dynamic live auction featuring a curated selection of high-impact items that directly support Claremont Middle School programs.

Casino tables will remain open throughout the night, adding an element of excitement and friendly competition. Attendees can also participate in the Golden Ticket drawing—just 50 tickets available at $50 each—for a chance to win $500.
Each ticket includes a cocktail hour, plated dinner, open bar, access to casino games, and participation in the live auction. All proceeds benefit PTA-funded programs, including classroom support, electives, and enrichment opportunities that enhance the student experience.
The excitement continues online with the CMS Auction launching April 1, offering a wide range of items and experiences. Highlights include spa packages, wine tastings, gift cards to local restaurants, jewelry, and fitness classes such as yoga and Pilates. Participants can also bid on tickets to popular CMS-hosted parties, including themed gatherings like a Hot Dog Party, Ethiopian Dinner, and Mahjong Night.
For those looking to get more involved, CMS is seeking volunteers to assist with auction setup, guest check-in, and event closing. Volunteering offers a fun and meaningful way to support the event while connecting with the school community.
