On Saturday, September 19, Rockridge neighbors and friends gathered to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Frog Park, and the 30th Anniversary of the Rockridge Library. Some of those in attendance remembered when it all got started, others are new to the area and have come to appreciate these local treasures. Regardless of your tenure, all our readers should not miss Annette Floystrup’s article on the history of the library and how it all came together back in 1995.

Rockridge Library Brings Old and New Neighbors Together in Honor of its 30th Anniversary
Not to be outdone, the Rockridge Library put on a party of its own with help from the Friends of the Rockridge Library (FORL)—welcoming the neighborhood to share in the 30th anniversary celebration. Speakers included District 1 Councilmember Zac Unger, Senior Librarian Brian Guenther, and Nancy Dutcher, who was instrumental in getting the library built (see Rockridge Voice article for more details).
