À Côté is a shared-plates restaurant serving Mediterranean-inspired seasonal tapas, complemented by fresh cocktails and a distinctive wine list. Guests can dine at indoor communal tables or enjoy the patio for an open-air experience.

The restaurant serves California Rustic cuisine — simple, seasonal dishes made with local ingredients meant to be shared. The menu rotates frequently to keep things fresh for Rockridge diners. Key local suppliers include Star Route Farms, Full Belly Farm, and Monterey Fish. Open daily for lunch and dinner.

Tacos, bowls, and creative Asian-inspired dishes are served in this casual, no-frills eatery — with tater tots on the menu. Known as a favorite Bay Area spot of Andre Iguodala, it’s all about good food in a laid-back setting. Come see for yourself.

Cactus Taquería focuses on fresh, sustainable ingredients and the traditional, mouthwatering flavors of Mexico. Everything is made from scratch without artificial ingredients, and all meat and poultry come from partner farms that raise animals without growth hormones, antibiotics, or animal by-products.

Millennium Restaurant offers globally inspired, plant-based cuisine in an inviting fine-dining setting. The menu offers a modern take on tradition, built on fresh local ingredients, sustainable practices, and a creative approach to authentic Thai dishes. The flavors are influenced and accented in thoughtful ways — anything but “fusion.”

Starter Bakery

The company began as a wholesale bakery and, in 2023, opened its first retail bakery café in Oakland’s Rockridge neighborhood. The café serves freshly baked pastries, breads, desserts, salads, sandwiches, and coffee drinks Wednesday through Sunday.
Restaurant Week Special: Mornings, enjoy a pastry and latté ($9) or flight of Kouign Amann ($15); Lunch, enjoy a sandwich and cookie w/ Iced Tea ($18) or Chef's special quiche plus cookie and iced tea ($18).
Zachary’s Chicago Pizza

Zachary’s on College has been employee-owned since 1983. Their stuffed or thin-crust pies are made to order with zesty, diced tomato sauce, and cooked slowly so that the top layer of dough melts into the cheese to seal in flavor as the flaky, buttery crust bakes until it is golden brown.
