Market Hall Foods Hosts Second Annual Truffle Fest

Market Hall Foods invites the community to celebrate the earthy delight of fresh truffles at the second annual Market Hall Foods Truffle Fest, taking place from noon to 3pm on Saturday, February 7.

Each year from November through February, Market Hall Foods carefully sources freshly foraged truffles from France and Italy. Truffle Fest offers guests the chance to experience these fragrant gems through tastings, house-made dishes, specialty products, and conversations with knowledgeable purveyors.

Event highlights include:

  • Tastings of truffled charcuterie and truffle-forward dishes from the kitchen and bakery, including truffled ravioli and a Truffle Fest pizza special
  • A selection of truffled cheeses available to sample at the Cheese Shop
  • Wine tastings from Paul Marcus, curated to pair beautifully with truffles
  • Grilled oysters with truffle butter from Billingsgate Seafood
  • Artisan chocolate truffles (ganache-filled confections) from Feve Chocolate
  • Take-home favorites such as truffle butter and porcini truffle lasagne
  • Conversations with the “King of Mushrooms” at Market Hall Produce, offering insight into the fascinating world of fungi
